I was hoping for something close to the old Milkshake candy bars, which were more like a Three Musketeers with malt flavoring. These were absolutely nothing like those in either taste or texture. Certainly not worth $4 per bar by any measure.

I'm a fan of malted milk candies, so this was perfect! Now I'm wondering how it might pair with dark chocolate.

The smell & taste of my childhood

I had always talked about my favorite candy bar. Milkshake candybar. They had been bought out & shut down. My son n law was determined to find that candy bar. He got me a case for Christmas. I opened up the box and smelled it. Yep, it smelled just like my old favorite candy bar! Opened up my first bar, took that first bite, closed my eyes and went back in time! Tasted just the same! Five stars from this old man!
